Who we are

ui.camera is operated by Autogram AB in Sweden. Questions about this policy can be sent to contact@ui.camera.

What the website handles

ui.camera is a studio for composing images and short videos of software interfaces. You can use it without an account. Screens, videos, timeline data, and composition settings may remain in your browser's local site storage until you reset the project or clear data for ui.camera.

On the Free plan, finished captures in your camera roll remain in this browser. On paid plans, finished captures are stored with your project so you can return to them from another device. Downloaded copies are saved where you choose on your device.

Accounts

If you create an account, we store the email address you use to sign in and, when you continue with Google, the name and profile image Google provides. Signed-in projects—including uploaded images, videos, composition data, and paid-plan camera roll captures—are stored so you can return to them later.

Authentication is provided by Supabase. Email sign-in sends a one-time login link to the address you enter.

Website infrastructure

Our hosting and database providers may process ordinary technical request information, such as IP address, browser information, and request metadata, as needed to securely deliver the website.

Sharing and advertising

We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as needed to provide and secure the service.

Chrome extension

The optional ui.camera Chrome extension captures a screenshot or video of the current page only after you click the extension and choose to capture or record. The extension processes the visible page and the interactions needed to frame the capture locally. It stores custom backdrop color preferences locally in Chrome. Screenshots and recordings are saved to your Downloads folder and are not uploaded by the extension. If the optional ui.camera app is installed, recording commands and the framed screen coordinates are sent locally to the app so macOS can record the selected area. The app runs from the menu bar, stores its Chrome connection settings locally, and does not send extension data to an external server.

The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

You can use the studio as a guest, sign out at any time, or remove locally stored project data by clearing site data for ui.camera. To delete an account and its saved projects, email contact@ui.camera.
